Famous Dave's BBQ Structure Fire . . .


February 23, 2010 - B Shift

Dispatched at 16:20. Upon arrival at 16:21, Engine 61 found smoke coming from the southwest corner of the structure and moderate smoke conditions inside a back dining room. Once power was shut down, crews cut open the roof area adjacent to two electrical boxes on the corner. Fire and charred wood were found at bottom and top of the rock column at the southwest corner. Fire was extinguished with no extension to the rest of the structure.
 
ST-6  determined that the fire started in and around the electrical transformers for the exterior track lighting.
