The South Trail Fire Prevention Bureau is involved with numerous community-oriented programs designed to enhance the overall safety of the community for the residents of and visitors to the District.  In 2009, the Prevention Bureau conducted 2,786 inspections and reviewed 817 sets of construction drawings. 

 

	The Aldridge-Benge Firefighter Safety Act (Florida Statute, Section 633.027) requires that all commercial, industrial, and multi-unit residential buildings of three units or more that use lightweight truss construction be marked with compliant signage.  Call the Prevention Bureau at 482-8030 for more information.
